Why Is Your Feedback Important?
We wanted to explain why we are so obsessed with gathering feedback from you. We intentionally kept our initial version of YourAM simple. We merely focused on a few dedicated features that were important. Our model of approach to developing YourAM is to build a web application that mainly showcased our key ideas then bring in enough users to steer the product. We didn't want to build a product that nobody wanted to use and we didn't want to take too long to bring it to market. In short, we wanted YourAM to grow with its users to meet their business needs.
We are thankful that many of you have bothered to tell us what you think about YourAM and what is missing in it. We have already started to build on some of those valuable feedback. You will probably see many of the features that you needed being released in the next couple of months. We can't promise that we will develop all the features you wanted and needed but do still share it with us so that at least we can consider it. Some of you have pointed out to us valuable features that we never really considered or planned and we thank you for them.
Don't stop telling us what you think, help us make YourAM the kind of automated scheduling software that you will want to use. We follow a few guidelines in our product vision and any feedback and ideas along these directions will have a high chance of being accepted and developed on.
Software automation
We don't want to create a system just for businesses to make appointments, we want to take over and manage it for them through software automation. Features that cannot be automated or require manual human interaction will not be in our priority consideration.
Horizontally scalable across many service based industries
The service sector is one of the major sectors in many countries’s economy. There is a common and critical need across all service based businesses and that is appointment management. The value of appointment management is that it is an operational need that can scale horizontally across many industries making its market potential enormous.
Even though there are many appointment solutions in the market today, many of them are individual productivity tools and not meant for groups and businesses. Among those that do support businesses, many of them are very customized, targeting a specific industry only and hence do not scale well across other industries. Decades of neglect by technologist and venture capitalists to provide a proper solution, coupled with these specialized solutions resulted in a very fragmented market for appointment management. YourAM aims to unify the current fragmented appointment management market through features that can scale across many industries.
Anytime and anywhere
We want businesses and their customers to be able to access YourAM anytime and anywhere using commonly available technology platforms such as the web, SMS, phone and etc. If your feedback and suggestion are based on a technology or platform that is not commonly available then that too will not be on our priority list.
Effectively contribute back to others
Features that can contribute back significantly to many businesses and their operation is what we are constantly brain storming on. If the feedback and ideas that you suggest only benefit your organization and needs than we will probably not consider it.
We are excited at what YourAM will become in the next year or two and we hope that you will grant us your patience and opportunity to show you what we have planned and lined up.
